Re: Some of my button finds
Thanks Jeff Buttons aren't for everyone...but personally I would rather find buttons than coins. Especially 1812 and revolutionary war.
I don't throw coins back though!

Thanks very much for the replies guys! I guess this isn't a popular forum *hah* I find it hard to believe so few people have an interest in buttons...

Re: Some of my button finds
Do you know if the button in the second picture (the U.S. button) is worth anythng.. I found one here in wisconsin at an old indian camp site... it's a much older item than what we would normally find in this area so it's really tweaked my curiosity. I think it was PBK that told me it was a "great coat" button 1820-1839, I didn't check into it at all but he knows his stuff- thanks in advance.

Re: Some of my button finds
Thanks everyone! I'll have to update this with some more buttons in the next couple of days for those interested. Might as well keep this same post going and just update it as there isn't much traffic here anyhow it seems.
I have lots of new buttons to add!

Yep, that is an accurate ID. I am not sure on a value...but would venture a guess of...not very much *hahah* Probably $12-$15 maybe!?

Thanks The 100th is one of my faves. War of 1812 officers button. The top button with the 4 in the middle is a Revolutionary war button....not a common one either.

Thanks very much It's nice to have a place to share finds like these. I am not sure many folks missed them...I think it's more that people are into coins etc. more so than buttons. To each their own. Thanks again
