Need Help w/a whole bunch of BUTTONS

I picked these up at an estate auction about two years ago. I put them away and haven't thought about them since, until I noticed there was an entire forum here dedicated to buttons.

Anyway, I am assuming these are all from the modern era. The only one I know anything about would be the "Punjab 2nd Regiment" one, which I am assuming is from India and may or may not be from the time period of the British Raj. The Punjab were classified by the British as one of the "Martial Races" (there were many others as well) because of their skills on the battlefield.
