Can one of the CW button experts ID this Virginia button for me?

Found this one in Fredricksburg, Va. a Long Long time ago. Been lying around. Can you give me any pertinent info on it other than its a VA button. Mark on the back is M.C. Lilley & co. Columbus, Ohio. Any value in it's present dug condition? Thanks to all in advance. Finderzzs

I'm certainly not an expert but I have never seen that particular button nor it's backmark. My guess if post CW. JMHO.

your button is post CW, this companies first reference to military goods was in 1876. they produced state seals and U.S. buttons until WW2
