Thanks for viewing this thread. I think this is not a WW 2 button. Can anyone help with the identity? Found several and a cuff button near the beach. The other side has Scovill MFG Co, and Waterbury embossed on it. best, IMAG0928 (1).jpg

Also ..Is that an Exact Quote of the backmark? including all the .,*"/ ;....Marks like that.
