Hi all! Just joined the hobby of metal detecting with my new detector (early Christmas present). First day out I found a cool flat button in fields of PA. Based on some similar posts, looks like a flat button pre-1800? I’d be curious to know if any resources to learn a bit more. Appreciate you reading! Looks like a back side of two piece button.

Agree it's the back of a two piece. I'm guessing mid-late 1800's.
