Any info on this button?

. I dug this button last year in newburgh NY. It is back marked. Shannon & miller new York. I tried to find it online and couldn't. I saw similar buttons that where military. Its a little bigger then a quarter and gilded. Any info will be appreciated.

Shannon miller & crane was all that I saw as well. I was thinking maybe there was a merge and this button predates the merge.

I found it at a old site. My buddy bassman found his first reale there not too long ago. I found a rev sword clasp there and a few civil war eagle buttons there. The eagle buttons didn't do as well as this one they are really toasted. So who knows it could be pretty old.
