Would you recommend cleaning?

I got this Louisiana pelican button and believe me I don’t wanna ruin it I’m just wanting to know would anybody use CLR or lemon juice on it or just leave it alone?

I’m that guy never satisfied until I mess it up. I found it couple months ago had a couple of days of rain didn’t leave the house and that’s dangerous because I start getting “ideas”. :laughing

Don't use chemicals or water on it. Get a set of the Andre's pencils and you can micro clean any parts of it you want. Once I got a set, I'll never go back to chemicals.

But go slowly! They are not expensive. I have saved the several buttons and early half cents I found this year using them. If I would have even used water, I would have ruined them.

Looks good, however if you really want to clean it Use a fine tooth brush very lightly with a little bit of water and or toothpick only with virgin olive oil and go slow.
