I dug this Philadelphia Reserve Brigade button this morning along with a plug base Enfield and some other relics. I have dug several dozen general service eagle buttons here but this is the first button that lets me identify which unit was camped here or at least who should have camped here! Thanks for looking.

I have dug a few of the Union General Service buttons. Your button is in beautiful condition and what a great find that you are able to actually put alot of details together to identify it. WTG, very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Baspinall! This is exactly what I have been searching for. How did you find it digitalized? Cool!
