    Re: treasure vaults

Bastrop Louisiana had one buried under the foundation of the old Parish court house. Had many items concerning the birth of the town. My Great Grandfather, Ike Garrett, had the first blacksmith shop in the town and there were photos/writeups on him and his shop. This vault was discovered while making renovations to the courthouse in the 1990's. Not sure of the dates, I do know that my Grandfather, Robert Garrett was born in 1880.

    Time capsules?

A good number have been forgotten or the precise location has been lost...many are in or near a civic building.
