El Paso Cache?

anyone do any looking in the franklin mountains? its not too big of a mountain range, problem is your visible to the whole city
i think its the padre mine, that is somewhere up there if i can recall

The Padre is up in the Organ's near Las Cruces. But Ole Pancho Villa is reputed to have a sizeable cache near the point of the Franklin's.

I lived in El Paso for a few years and on Thunderbird mountain on the west side of town there is a very large cave ceiling about 15 feet high and visable from the streets below it is not very deep though, and to the west of that is another cave entrance that I never did hike to b/c I was by myself. I have heard of a few guys that used to go hike the Franklins every weekend and did find some silver bars.

If I remember right, a lot of the Franklin Mtns area has "No Trespassing" signs slapped all over it...
Military land, I think. <--- lol

awesome about the silver bars. The signs read Peligro, or something like that and have a little boy and girl blowing up, seriously. but the areas of the mine are not military, or the supposed location anyways
