Two areas I have left untouched.

I have never before spent much time or effort learning to beach or shallow water hunt, nor have I spent any real time or effort learning to or trying to cache' Hunt. But now because of this manufactured economic crisis I think allot of new cache's may be a logical outcome. Many will try to hide clad not knowing it's inability to weather the ravages of time x soil x Moisture etc.....
Still others will be smart enough to trade for precious metals and coins that will last before hiding them. So I have already started my shallow water schooling and anyone else who may be thinking about cache hunting it is not too late especially since new cache's are most probably being hidden everyday now.

Have considered this, too, since who knows what will be happening in the future. My Grammy had her stash($$$$) place in an outside corn crib area---S Georgia....since they lived so far out in farming country and were many miles from a bank.....she sold eggs, made jelly/jam and cakes for the nearby wealthier folks. And, kept her mason jar buried under the sub floor of the out building. Learned of this from my mom only a few years back....so,it seems to me stashes must still exist.Just so happened that grammy told her 2 daughters where to look if something happened to her.

Gold will fair best in water. A few pieces here and there will give you peace of mind if you can hold mind over matter in later years.

The golden rule: Those with the gold Rule.

Years of cache in the water will wrought paper money, but gold will still shine will a little bit of salt and vinegar rubbing and rinsing.

If Texas keeps up with the drought, the city ponds & lakes will be prime search areas. Denver parks were pumping water from the ponds to irrigate the grass when the drought got real bad. That had to have been my best coin shooting year to date

    MD Dog,

That works great!........ Unless you've got a dry suit Then you definately got the "Rookie" sign on your head
