Cache of Wells Fargo Gold
There was a ship named the Ada Hancock and it was on its way into San Pedro harbor todeliver a shipment of gold. But i collided with another ship and it exploded all 125,000 dollars worth of gold went down with her in San Pedro Bay, Pretty interesting story.

Let's go diving. Got an extra suit?
Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. Acts 13:41

Re: Cache of Wells Fargo Gold
Ah yes, and they recovered much of the gold but not all. There was also an issue of the vessel or one of them carrying illegal gold.
And then there was another vessel was was illegally transporting gold or silver. When customs would board the vessel over the side the silver would go, or maybe it was secured to the vessel or was it dropped with a buoy. Anyhow, they have had documented instances in the 40s or 50s where people hauled in their anchors and they had a satchel of coins snagged on their anchors.
Before we get ready to go diving however, one must locate the wreck. And then you need to get permits as the waters are in a high traffic area.
But wait, there's more, act now and we will even throw in a free Bass O'Matic, it slices, it dices,
They have done so much dredging and altering of the bottom of the area it is most likely what treasure has been displaced or buried in another location under tons of debris. And from divers who have dove in the area allot of the area is a underwater desert that is prone to visibility problems.
But hey there are also a couple barges that sank that were converted into off shore casinos. And that is another source for potential silver. I read a report of a diver who dove them and it mentions slot machines and gambling tables in piles scattered all over the debris field.

And they just found the Brother Jonathan back in '99, right where it was supposed to be. I guess not many bothered to look for it.
Shoot, if there's a reef or a point nearby- grab your suit and take a look, ya never know.

AKA - Port of long Beach.
San Pedro is the docking and shipping center.
So busy at times, ships are anchored off shore in a que waiting weeks to get a berth.
Just think, if we turn this over to the Saudi's, we wouldn't have this problem.
