    Re: Attila's Treasure

Here something i do on the Nat. Geo. website. Due to the vast expanse of Mongolia and the fact Attila was intentionally buried without recording where his tomb was current archies and Nat Geo have asked for the online communities help.

They have uploaded tons of sat images of Mongolia and after logging in and a a tutorial you are presented with these images one at a time. The viewer then uses the tool bar to flag anomolies in the image such as rivers, roads, structures etc.

The idea is that it helps guide the archies and they search around Mongolia.

**Imagine being the online user that spotted something "odd" looking on an image and flagged it as "Unknown" or "Ancient Structure" and when investigated they were able to unearth Attila the Hun's tomb?**

You'd be famous for sure! For 15min's at least...

**EDIT** Oops! My Nat Geo link is for Genghis Khan, not Attila. Oh well. Genghis trumps Attila anyday....
