1941 san bernardion (california) plan crash

Hey I am new to the forum. I was wondering if anybody had information on a 1941 plan crash of DC 3 right around the time they thought west coast was going to be invaded by the japenese.
Or if anybody can give me some good advice on how to find out a flightplan or something more than I have. Iheard about this while doing some research for something else and came across this small paragraph in this book.
The plan crashed in 1941 in southern california. The man who chartered the plan Harold G Stone. Had some very good stuff on board.
It' crashed new San Bernadino.
Any advice will be great!
