Why all the bones?

I've been digging in a noticeable depression (approx. 7ft.x7ft.) near an old homesite (1920's) and have found tons of relics, bottles and lots of bones.? Does anyone have an explanation for the bones?? It seems like alot of the bones were discarded in old tin cans which makes it even more mysterious.?

Never found a dump that had lots of bones in the cans. But I have found lots of bones in the area of old home sits. It wasn't like today we get most of are food prosiest. They raised their food. SAS <><

?I thought about that but a ranch without dogs is like a park without pull tabs.

what type of bones are they? it sounds like you are on to an old trash dump. my guess is that they are the remnants of someones dinner .

Are there alot of rocks around ? Up here in the northeast farmers would bury dead cows , horses , etc under a pile of rocks to make it harder for the coyotes to dig them up .
