Louis Matacia wrote the only book I'm aware of that's dedicated to the topic. Type in "Finding Treasure Auras" in the amazon.com search engine. About $25. He still does seminars around the country if you want to google his name. Hope this helps.

HOLA, go to "clues for cache hunting". There is one in Spanish in Mexico by a gentleman that dedicated much of his life to treasure hunting, successfully. Many of his finds were due to these lumious gases. So, obviously, yes they do exist.

You might wish to contact G Flores who posts it these rooms.

    Re: Cache's and Flame's

    hey all
back to this flames and cahce's I have been studing this really hard and decided to do some research and I know I can't be on a couple of sites where this appearing and disappearing flame's have been seen at the same time. My question is can I put video cameras with some type of heat or motion detection on them or is it only visiable to the human eye?

we referred to them as "ghostlights" they were white, blue and pink, I have seen them my grandpa said they were spirits guarding their money they had buried he would go out there and look for it
i dont know, if that is what it really was or not, but I could see them for my bedroom window at night when i was a kid, i would stare at them for hours they would come and go, really I just think they were caused by enviromental factors gases mixing or something but they are really odd and spooky

This is interesting, I can't say I believe it, But as some others have,
I'm open to anything that can be proved, and helpful to treasure hunters.

I also believe that dowsing is nothing more than an expanded awareness of what is really happening, not some kind of psychic power as some want you to believe.

Q)) How would you define psychic abiity if not by expanded awareness, or vice veras??

    Re: Cache's and Flame's

George, from my own research into the blue flame phenomena here are a few things to ponder. #1. Every lost treasure has it's spook light. #2. Although the blue flames are known to flicker & dart, like true flames, they produce no heat. #3. At times they can emit enough light to read by. #4.They have been known to follow railroad tracks. #5.Some have heard a soft low hum like the 60 cycle hum of an electrical transformer. #6. They have been referred to as "mysterious balls of fire". #7.They can appear to pulsate. #8.They can vanish when approached. #9. If it floats off, it usually bobs and sways. #10.They can be as small as two inches in diameter, but when a mass is formed of many individual lights they may assume some very bizarre shapes. #11. Some are transparent, others are opaque.

    Re: Cache's and Flame's

George, from my own research into the blue flame phenomena here a few things to ponder. #1. Best time to view these are during the first 10 days after the new moon with the third and sixth days being the best. #2. Every lost treasure has it's spook light. #3. Most are the size of a basketball. #4. Blue flames or balls hover just above the site, although some reports state that if in ball form, it floats off.#5. They have been known to float back to the treasure and shrink in size and sink down below the earth. #6. They have been known to emit flames out of a house. #7. Although the blue flames are known to flicker and dart like true flames, they produce no heat. #8. At times it can emit enough light to read by. #9. The ball variety has been known to follow railroad tracks. #10. Some people have heard a soft low hum like the 60 cycle hum of an electrical transformer. #11. Some only appear in foggy or rainy weather. #12. They have been referred to as "mysterious balls of fire". #13. They can appear to pulsate at times. #14.They can vanish when approached. #15. If it floats off, it usually bobs and sways. #16. They could be a phosphorescent gas. #17. They can be as small as 2 inches in diameter to three feet in diameter, but when a mass is formed of many individual lights they may assume some very bizarre shapes. #18. Some are transparent, others are opaque. #19.Ball lightening is reddish when positive, "bluish" when negative. #20. Gold is an excellent conductor of electricity and heat. #21.By transmitted light, gold glows bluish green. #22. Gold dissolved in aqua regia forms a solution containing crystals of chlorauric acid, a compound much used in photography. #23. Finally, but not the final word in this ongoing research of mine strange but true, if you stare at gold long enough, it seems to glow on it's own. Old timers said this "glow" was the cause of gold fever. Hope it helps you!

    Re: Cache's and Flame's

Okay, on the surface this, to me, sounds, well, wacko. BUT I'm open to things like this, because I believe there are things out there that we cannot even fathom, and I'm not talking about treasure here. I looked on Amazon for the book in question -- found one and it was $65!! Okay, who's cornering the market on this
