    a story about a guy in weatherford tx, from the Perrysburg journal July 20, 1916
    he found a treasure sign on a tree and dug for 25yr

    Thanks for the link... great example of a lead with verifiable/research potential. Not for me, but good primary account. Have you followed up on any of it?
