For those who want to sell there coins you might want to read.
By the why it sounds we may be safe with selling rings and other jewelry according to this web site.
http://goldnews.bullionvault.com/gold_tax_060320102
The gold tax by the way it sounds is mainly torwards the selling of gold bars, coins and stocks along the same lines with silver coins and bars and stocks etc.
The rings fall under a heirloom law/act.
Remeber please check with a financial adviser before you do sell your gold or silver rings I really don't want to see or hear that anyone got burnt because this was wrong. So please check with someone who is very knowledgable.

Re: For those who want to sell there coins you might want to read.
This is just another aspect of our socialist government to control everything. Think about it, the way gold and silver have risen over the last couple years the socialist government feels that since people are tired of being screwed on other capitol gains they would invest in precious metals. That's exactly what people are doing and rest assured there will be other investors that will buy your gold and silver just like before and fly under the radar. Those dealers that chose to play the government game will in fact be left out from the buying end of precious metals. Let me say this, I don't condone drugs or their Illegal uses, but the main reason Hemp is Illegal is because the government cannot control it so it could be taxed thus we have the drug problems that are present today. It's no different than the prohibition days when liquor was Illegal, once the government could regulate it everything was ok. This will not happen with precious metals as I stated earlier people will continue to buy from private sources that have already invested at a lower cost compared to present market and the people will continue to exchange these precious. There are enough people in the world to make this happen without interference FROM BIG BROTHER!!!

Unless you are in bad need of ready cash, save that silver. You may have a mush greater need in the obama future.

Sell your coins in a coin auction, because most coin dealers are crooks. Best of luck to you.

Call Stack's at 800 566 2580 in New York City and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. They have many auctions every year, and you can mail them your coins.
Website:www.stacks.com Call for more information. I purchased many coins from them. If I found treasure, I would sell my coins in their auctions.

Stacks is good but I prefer Heritage Auction Galleries. http://www.ha.com/c/index.zx Heritage does require a minimum consignment of $5000 though. Both are top notch.
