    Maryland cabin cache

In a small cabin on Dans Mt. in western Maryland, in 1931, two hunters found an old hermit that had been dead for several months. They took his body into the nearest town, Midland, in a wheelbarrow. The word in town was that the hermit was a rich southern planter from the south who had retired to the cabin and lived in isolation. It is believed that he cached a large amount of money around his cabin. The big thing is to find the cabin which brings up the point, How far can you wheel a dead body in a wheelbarrow ? Frank

    Re: Maryland cabin cache

Not being facetious : I guess as far as need be to deliver to the proper authority .
1931 that portion of MD was very isolated . Not a great place for a stranger , yet today , once you get away from the amenities along I68 .
