Finding Cellar Holes

I have found a couple of old foundations and I have several locations with old foundations I am looking to hunt before it's too cold, my question is when I locate an old foundation, where is the best place to start, things to look for, and how to identify or find old cellar holes. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I would check out the floor, and start at one corner and work all the way around it.... you've found a site, you don't find them everywhere......
