    Slightly funny 'cache' story

This happened to a mate of my families.....

She was renting an old farm from some lady who's family had owned it for a while.
As people do latley she decided to make some home improvements and plant a garden.
She decided the best place for the garden would be the old chicken run. (They had a shed for them at night and an enclosed run for the chickens during the day).

Anyways she digs up the old run and plants vegies I think.
A few days later the land lady comes around demanding her money. Well our mate had no idea what the land lady was on about.

Turns out that she reckons that the only reason you'd dig up a chicken run was to find money!
(As with most towns there a fair few rumours about buried money and such.)
The land lady was dead set convinced that our mate had found some money on her property and she wanted 'it'.
She pushed so hard our friend is now moving.

This happened just a few weeks back!

Guess the moral of the story is that not all digging is for treasure!

Just thought someone might find it a little bit entertaining!

    Have fun,

Salvager, have u found it yet ?

Seriously the owner opened mouth and inserted foot, somethings hidden there. I`d go over it with a fine tooth comb.

I've got a few family friends in that area with similar properties/stories-hopefully I'll be able to check a few!!!!

Also lots of farms there have places where old towns used to be with a school a shop and a pub so they will probably be good to check too-should be a good year.

    I'll keep you all informed!

that is the very spot that is best for a cash because of the noise the chickens make when disturbed, definitely worth a closer look

So the landlady doesn't know a garden when she sees one? She doesn't know that chickenstuff is good fertilizer?

I agree, this place (especially the garden) deserves a much closer look
