Hows the sierra madre?

Hey what would you use to pull up 8th century bronze an small artifacts at 2 to 5 ft deep?I need something versatile,an whites says the sierra madre can go 5 ft.with the 15 inch coil..Is this true?its got to go deep enough to detect that bronze...any one try this model?an what would you suggest for the job?all around performance?
