looking for markers

I will be cache hunting an old homestead this spring that has already produced a 1 qt jar of silver dollars and halves, What are some common markers or hot spots i should be focusing on? The homeowner is sure that her husband hid sever such jars around their property.

look in out buildings, around all bldgs, in and around chimney, a lot of them have pockets built in to them on the inside around draft area, look for rocks that will pull out of chimney, foundation, basement revealing a hole behind them. detect area outside of and within site of bedroom windows or any room the man frequented as they liked to be able to look out and check on their stash. between 1-5 feet off of the corner of house or chimney. under any rocks or stepping stones, especially lonely rocks. around any post that seems to serve no purpose. fruit trees ., nearly anything that could be used as a marker. old trees. women liked flowerbeds and around the clothes line or well...LOOK EVERYWHERE !!
