Two Box Detector for finding wells

How do the older Whites Tm 800 series two-box do for hunting older home sites that are grown over with brush.
Mainly looking for older wells and cysterns for bottle caches or possibly smaller Fruit jar Caches.....Any Idea's or thoughts?

The claims that a two-box will go real deep are not true for treasure-sized objects. Typically you want a gallon-sized metal container if you are to expect anything more than a couple of feet. You can use them to find cavities in the ground.

Soil mineralization plays a big role the bigger coil you use. There are times a ten inch coil won't work. The pulse induction units cost a lot more but are far superior.

Targets have been reported at depths of 12 to 16 feet using the TM-808 and the Arc-Geo logger. With out the logger those depths would be much less.
