Give what my best shot? My understanding of the Schrödinger's cat concept? And I'm not much of a kid...unless that was an attempt at condescension.

Just do it Markd. I'm not code talking now. If you cannot understand this, just forget about
your understanding the cat in the box thought experiment devised by the physicist Erwin
Schrödinger. Here is a clue for you. The cat in the box thought experiment is a paradox.
Ya'll come back now, you here?

The thought experiment is whether the cat can be thought of as alive in the box or dead in the box. Not an experiment on whether the cat is, or is not, in the box. The distinction is important.

HE dom't give a bag of beans

bag-of-beans.jpg

"Reading" Fenn. My take on it is that Fenn very likely does not give a bag of beans for the
people searching for his chest (filled with whatever he says is in the chest) unless he can use the "searcher" to help him sell his books, establish a lasting "legacy" and stick it to the US government (BLM and IRS). Below is something I came across while taking a ride on the great broadband highway in the sky.

From: Dal Netzlier' website

Subject:Goodby Harry
by: Chipper

A poster named chipper made a entry about the recent death of a friend. Succumbed to cancer.
Said the man had been his best friend

Forrest Fenn on March 1, 2014 at 8:18 am said:

"Hey Chipper,
I thought I was your very best friend. You’ll get no more Babe Ruth candy bars from me so don’t keep sitting out at the curb waiting for the UPS truck."

Now my observation:
Observe that Fenn is pushing his chase thrill in response to a post made by a man about the death of a good friend..

Quote from Mo Dean's former husband, John: "I began by telling the president that there was a cancer growing on the presidency and that if the cancer was not removed ... the president himself would be killed by it."

Limited Vision

Field of vision of Fenn Cult of Personality thinkers. Small wonder that such
cannot "find the prize" in Fenn's thrill chase game. Prisoners of their own minds, one might say. If one were to say. Doomed to circle the earth round and round until they meet themselves and discover who they really are, and were Fenn's treasure really lies

TOTC

Blind-Leading-The-Blind-1024x686.png

Follow me men. By my calculations the Blaze is just over that ridge over yonder.
I told you it was too far to walk darn it.

At times I have been both entertained and informed by some of what I read. At other times I just roll my eyes at what I read. Being a man of both numbers and letters I tend to live by the rule of kiss. “Keep it simple stupid”. So armed I have gone onward with the TOTC poem map from time to time and gathered knowledge here, there and yonder. Take no offence to what I may say, it is not aimed as an insult to any serious reader or poster here or elsewhere.

Without further giving away beyond what I have posted on T-net thus far, I will say that some things are right in front of every searcher.

Regarding "As I have gone alone in there ”, I found this to be an introduction to a story. I will leave it up to each interested individual thinker to figure out why this is likely true. Hopefully it will give someone a new insight into this game Fenn is conducting.
Keeping ever in mind that every generalized statement by anyone (including this one) should be considered possibly false until determined to be otherwise. Credit where credit is due to the poster known as Chad .

Onward. "Try to remember that everyone including yourself has only their own experience to think with."

Actually, I learn a lot by observation and reading along with actual experiencing life myself.

We are both thinkers, but our approach differs in expression. Have a good day. Frank...-

Swag.jpg

Depends in what context one uses SWAG Frankn.

1)It can be trinkets you get for free at trade shows and events. Sealed with a gift.
2)It can be a bedroll/bundle, or an ornamental draping curtain in decorating.
3)It can mean an unsteady movement.
4)it can mean Silly Wild Ass Guess.
5)It can also mean, someone who is really cool and hip in their mannerisms.
6)It Can also relate to the way you dress as well. Just really cool. She has swag. Means she is really cool.

Because the picture you attached to your post gives a clue as to your intended context, I'd say #4 {Silly Wild Ass Guess} is what you were going for.
Could you back that up with anything other than that YOU Personally could not identify a starting point for your personal search efforts with the TOTC poem map? Possible in you were to seek the starting point in the realm of the mind rather than "in the wood" you just might be rewarded for your effort if you see the Blaze.

Well In the realm of my thinking, SWAG stands for SCIENTIFIC WILD ASS GUESSING. When there is no real starting point or direction given as in the poem, you just start guessing to fill in the blanks based on places you have been or read about. The poem means different things to different people. There mental picture pertains to them alone.
In a REAL set of clues, the meaning is based on the location of the target, but without a starting point all is lost.
The starting point is in effect, the KEY that opens the rest of the clues.

example: where warm waters stop could be a point on the gulf stream somewhere off the Atlantic coast or it could be the hot water faucet in Fenn's bathroom. The poem, without a starting point is actually meaningless!

We should all stay true to what we believe in Frankn,, but having strong beliefs does not have to mean having a closed mind on some subjects. Simply because YOU cannot recognize the starting point in the Chase poem map does not mean that it is not there. Consider that it just may be that the starting point does not fit YOUR EXPECTATIONS. Mind you, I can appreciate that since I detected almost 12 months ago that YOU are fixated on a tangible treasure find rather than an apparent ILLUSION of a tangible treasure find. And you have a lot of company on that infinate loop "in the wood". How has that approach worked out for you and the other searchers

Alright time to put up. Name a starting point . You already completed the circle you are talking in. It appears you don't have a clue.lol Frank...-

Sink or swim Frankn

Sink or swim frankn.
I posted this to YOU all the way back in August, 2013 on the thread that WE managed to get locked
by TreasureHunter, the mod.

"Hello Frankn. What it indicated to me (at a certain point in time) was that any place you

selected in the outdoors to call " where the warm waters halt" was just good as any other.
Because in the outdoors was not where a searcher should be searching for the Fenn treasure."
