I posted this under another topic but it may relate here as well or better. Not sure if it will turn out to be Spanish markers but I do have a person helping me with knowledge of such things. Will have to gather better pics and see what they can help me find. It may be a possible cache or marker to a cache? There were lots of outlaws in the area of the Black Hills and rumors of various lost treasures in the area. When studying about the Spanish- it does seem sensible that a prominent marker wouldn't hold the treasure but would provide info to the where the treasure is. I can follow the logic that it would be silly to put your loot under a standout marker. Any direction of research or ideas appreciated.
