only thing I remember seeing on Oak Island was a Minelab 3030.

imo it would probably not be cost effective to Rent a detector unless you were a TV crew
with advertisers Backing ya. and if you can rent the Detectorist who knows it well also.

there is no better detector then the one in the hands of the owner.

Anyway.... I wish I was local ...

Good Huntin' !

I have the best metal detector guys helping me. Problem is 92 years of accumulated metal. I actually have talked to Expedition unknown and they were interested. I need to find the origin of that article on Genna. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Becareful.... The Crime Family might be watching.

Marshal County
Gangster Jim Genna is said to have buried a large amount of money in a steel box under a rock pile in a pasture. The FBI and treasure hunters however, have been unsuccessful in locating the spot. Located 1-1/2 miles down a dirt road off State Road 6 near Bremen.

The only way the money is still there if Jim Genna is the only one that knew about it and buried it himself.. Otherwise it has been long gone for years if there ever was any money
