Any Lost Treasures stories for N. Alabama

Hello to all here on the forums. I'm new to MDing but have hunted arrowheads for years. It's about time I got smart and tried to MD :lol:
I have a Whites MXT and have been doing real good being a rookie at this I think. Now I'm looking for some Lost treasure stories for north Alabama. any one out there know any.

there are sites to look up on alabama. try: alabama in the civil war, alabama gold prospecting, treasure hunting alabama also the local library should have books on treasures of alabama and battles of the civil war.

Hi Bowman, got a good boat? I live in Tn and been interested in pursuing a treasure along the bluffs of the Tn river near Florence. Legendary cave filled with gold. Could just be a legend but i would like to get out there with someone to look but do not want to invest in a stable boat that can handle the river. Chip
