Anyone use a Maxi-Pulse 5000

Hi, friends,
I somehow came up with a few extra dollars and am thinking about buying a Maxi-puse 5000, Anyone on here have any good or bad things to say about them? I'm thinking about a Louisiana bayou or aTexas hill country search.

Thanks Tim, that is exactly what I wanted to know. My old two-box is past its best years, and the Maxi seems like a fair upgrade. My Uncle and several half-wit cousins live in Lake Charles and I hear stories every reunion about the Lafitte treasures and caches. The 5000 will probably be my next purchase a little later in the season.

The only thing you need to do is keep the coil open. Don't wrap to make smaller coil. The best depth is open.
