1947 Los Angeles street map
I recently found a 1947 Los Angeles Street Map with Street index.
1947 Los Angeles Street map with 48 page Street index listings.Published by Geographia Map C. NY. Contains House numbers, Transit Lines, Postal Zones, Street index. Map measures 30" X 44". Covers: Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Glendale, Burbank. Map scale 1 mile = 1 1/4"
Too big to scan into PC.
Glad to it away.. for postage

If you still have that map, I wouldn't mind taking that off your hands. My neighborhood is probably plotted on that map; my house was built in 1949, but I'd like to see what the area looked like just before. Let me know how we can work it out. I'd be much obliged. Cormier1029@yahoo.com

Hey Urban,
Unfortunately, I was too late. The map was already passed on before I could see it. (I'm so slow it takes me an hour and a half to watch "60 Mintues".)
