33.000 dollar nugget found.

I heard a fellow found a $33,000 dollar nugget in Temecula Ca when his truck broke down and waiting for tow with his detector.What luck!!!!

Temecula isn't known for precious metals...

Not too sure, heard it on the radio from the American Prospecting club.

There are a few spots just east of there, but mostly fine gold. could be true...not likely, but you never know.

If there is any kind of gold to be found in the Temecula (Rancho California) it might be more in the shape of oranges or hemp than a nugget...

There have been several instances of where marajuana farms have been found in the remote canyons years ago...now its too developed with mini-ranchitos.

The area is known for its orange and avocado groves...

Now if your serious about finding gold, go to the canyons easterly of Hemet and into Idyllwild and you will begin to see some color...and over the backside into the Palm Springs area (This is the mountainous area where the underground river of gold is located)...

Historically, there has been several large nuggets (measured in the pounds) found in the Palm Canyon region...

Right now its maybe 110 to 115 degrees in the shade (and tumbleweeds don't offer much shade unless you want to share it with a rattlesnake)

Hey guys,
I live in Hemet and have not heard a thing on this.. Who found it...where was it found.... when was it found and when was the 1st time someone wrote about the find ?? Sounds doubtful to me. I do agree with stefen about what kinda of " treasure " can be found there though. However the only area that " may " hold some truth to it maybe where the old railroad tracks are that came from San Diego to Temecula. I have heard of people locating " interesting " finds around the old tracks. I still am not exactly sure where this route started and ended at. I have a base area but not the Exact route. Tried to find out some spots on google earth but no luck. This is probably a good place to start at least.

Yeah, that must be BS because we would have heard about that by now. Now a day's, Temecula is also known for it's wine grapes and Mr. Massie of the Outdoor Channel, he he he he. Oh yeah, Lake Skinner and a casino or two.

He may have been near San Felipe (spelling), or near Burago Springs, or down near the Sea near Peg Legs Nuggets. You guys from around here know the back way to the Sea, from Hemet take State street south, east of Diamond Valley Reservoir
