Nice projects and rides all :icon_thumleft: Thought I would show you my 12 year project, it's a 66 Chevy II. Started out as a street car then pro street now strictly drag. I run in the top sportsman class, it turns in 7.86 times @ around 175. It has a 572 CID Merlin with pontiac heads with linco 5speed,putting out 1170hp.She is ALOTT of fun! Love the thread, keep up the nice work--Kurt

This is the newest to my collection. Its a 47. Ended up not liking the color, so next spring it gets a new paint job, and interior.

looks to be in good condition...

How about some additional pictures including. Engine and interior...Maybe Front, sides and rear views...

Describe condition, missing parts or parts to be replaced...chrome, emblems, wiring...

Tell us it's story

Thanks

Im looking for a Chevy II for myself. But i want to go with a '68-'69 model. Just for friday nights, no more runs on the track for me.

The Toronado project is almost finished. Turned out good! Tomorrow it goes to the paintshop for colour buffing and then to our DMV. It sold too! Now on to another project!

Here's a couple from Canberra, Australia.
My '68 Pontiac. For a bit of fun, done as a Fire Chief's car, complete with 120db siren and red light on the roof. It runs a 455 and TH400
The other is a '36 Fargo (Dodge) ute. In progress rat rod, so it will end up looking not much different to this pic. It will run a 250 Ford crossflow on LPG gas, C4 auto.
Hope the pics work ???

Taking a break from upgrading the 55 Chebby...last Friday purchased a slightly used 2004 Vet (22K miles in 7 years) from a private party in Palm Springs, CA...

Now have to get rid of a 84 El Camino with 96K actual miles (3.5K / YR)

Maybe even eBay the 55 Chebby along with 2K in new parts...

Nothing to add - just love the oldies. Last one I did was a 68 Pontiac back in '80 or so........... Have a '53 Chevy truck getting older every year that I'll probably never have time to do

Those are some sweet rides. I had a 67 Chevy II in high school, I wish I still had it. I always have a soft spot for those old muscle cars.
