I was searching on line to see what it would cost to repair the rust sections on my 2001 Ford truck. It rusted out really bad in 4 years.
I would need 6 of them at sixty some dollars each, I'm not sure what to do.
That would cost way to much just for the sheet metal panels.
Maybe try to find another box for it.
Here is the website that I went to. Copy and paste it and see what you can do.

thanks guys ,I saved all these sites. :icon_thumright: I am looking at about a grand of sheet metal to do the job right. Man,I should have paid attention in welding class. :-X
I could go with patch panels but the car has a lot of filler in the quarters.

Cant You build Your own ones? Here are some pics from our work on a 66 Toronado. Take some time, patience and a hammer. The results are better than poor fitting patch panels and You have something to be proud of!

Goodmark makes replacement body panels that are damn near perfect, fit right, same guage steel, etc. but they are a bit pricy. I used to be a Goodmark dealer when I managed a salvage yard/performance shop but have been away from it for a few years. They started out doing just GM panels but have since tooled up to do Mopar & Ford stuff as well. Also check Year One in Atlanta GA. Years of experience have taught me that when it comes to replacement body panels buy the best available. Making something fit that wasn't stamped correctly to begin with costs more in the long run & never looks right.

Roger at Autobody Specialties is very good to deal with.
Correct As Original Restoration Parts for your car or truck project. makes some of the best parts around.

Hi Mark, Thanks for your suggestions here. This post helped me with part of my restoration but I was wondering what to do about quarter panel auto glass replacement? Seems it's harder than I assumed to locate side panel glass on a 1970 Dart. Would you have any insight by chance on these classic auto glass suppliers:

1. http://www.glassusa.com/ - Glass America seems more mainstream, not sure if they can find niche OEM-equivalent products.

2. http://www.suntecautoglass.com/ - SunTec says they can source it nationally.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hello Mark, I took a bit more of a review on the 2 companies I had considered and it seems that Phoenix Windshield Replacement: Mobile Auto Glass Repair Phoenix az offers more customized side glass options for my Dart than the other outfit. Anyway, if you get a chance to offer me any advice this week, please do and thanks again!
