Brass Tent sinch

I found a Civil war tent cinch well M.d.ing in So. Cal. I wander how it got there. I think it might have been like army surplus & was left over then used for the American Indian war. Then taken by a solder & home steded in this area. I had also found in the same area A small buckle that Said Pat. 1879. They are both on display at the local museum. In the Mountns of Palm Springs.

Yes I have a good size display there at the museum. Thay have asked me to M.D. the property which I have started & have found a old pocket watch frame. I cant Waite to find the rest of the watch I hope it is engraved. I have found out that there was a Civil war fort in L.A. thay might have came thru hear back then.That is how I found the tent sinch SAS<><

Yes SWR I have found atlest two in SO. CAL. then by the 1870's there was more for the Amr. Ind. war. SAS<><
