Its from the right period. Did you find anything else that is definitely CW period, like a bullet or button?

no i have only been to this sight 2x's all i find is horse tack (buckles and the rings off saddles and an old lock) its in an area where the cav went through so im crossing my fingers. i did find one online that looks like mine that says CW but i have only found the one and nothing else like it so ????
