    Special Civil War Bayonet

    I had posted this in a few other forums.Just thought I would put in here if that was ok.This has been in my family for 3 generations.My father decided that it was time for me to have it in the hopes that I would pass it on to my son,which I am going to do.It has C&Co stamped on it,which I belive stands for Collins & Co

    Was this found by a relative or bought? Either answer, does not take away from its historical value.

    WTG that bayonet is in pristine condition, and the scabbard looks great too. What a find and piece of history you have there.
