    It really wasn't the guys fault, he didn't know..hope they don't press charges against him.

    I think the archies should go in and charge the Police for destroying artifacts. The cannonball had been around for 150 years and hadn't 'just blown up'. Dropping it would not detonate it, it contained black powder---it has to be lit. Oh well--another example of how half-traiined public officials react

    I agree with you Charles I can not believe that they would just blow up such a great piece of history. That should be the crime not some guy wanting to own it.
