How do i find ?

When sherman burnt Atlanta what was his path to virgina ,how can i find a map showing his exact route , i only live maybe 10 miles from a place called hurricane shoals thats in maysville ga , there used to be an cannon ball factory there , i heard that they did fight a battle there , but since the state took it over they wont let you detect there any more any ideas guys an gals ?

Hi, the best way is to obtain copies of the maps made by the union army. Can be found in the Official Military Atlas of the Civil War. I have one if I can help. I'm near Covington, Ga...Mike...
