Antiques Roadshow civil war map book

Antiques Roadshow civil war map book

Tonight (March 27,2006) on Antiques Roadshow (Texas) was a woman who had a map book from the civil war, near the end (from the Union). I don?t have any more information than that, but I?m sure a devout Civil War buff saw the episode and is desperately attempting to track this woman for a copy of the maps.
The show was listed in the guide as:

Antiques Roadshow - Wedgwood Fairyland Lustreware; Mickey Mantle?s Watch; settee. (Part 3 of 3). 65737

    Good luck and good hunting.

Re: Antiques Roadshow civil war map book

The woman who was presenting it was showing it in conjunction with a Confederate bible. The map book and bible were family heirlooms. He grand uncle (? or something) was the map maker for a Union group -showing my military/civil war level here. He made the maps after the battles to show the Union advances. The woman was based in texas and didn?t seem to have any interest in selling. I believe the final bid (memory is hazy now) was under $10,000.
