    eagle button

    I rescued a few buttons from a construction site the other day. Apparently I was a bit too late for this one. This badly damaged button has no readable backmark but appears to be of the civil war period. It was dug in an area that produced finds from the civil war all the way up to Budweiser cans. What could it be?
