    Any civil war activity in East Texas around Lufkin?

    I live in Lufkin Tx and I have never heard of any civil war activity around this area but was wondering if anyone knew of any.

    sorry kenny, but there wasn't any shown activity in or around Lufkin. now go farther south, and you'll find galveston and sabine pass had some activity. actually, both cities had battles. sorry to disappoint. there might have been activity other than civil war participants. as in guerillas or the kgc or somethin like that. also might want to check the town history.
