    Seven Sided Bullet?

Yesterday I dug what I thought was a carved bullet because it had seven flats. It appears to be about a .32 cal. and was found at a skirmish site(found a gun tool and a watch key in the same area). Were there weapons that used this type of bullet?DBULL

Whitworth bullets had flat sides. I don't know the number though. They were made in 45 caliber.
