Looking for sites in East and South Texas???

Looking for any sites that may be visited using metal detector in Texas, any help is welcome

One of the things I like to do is do ebay search entering the name of a town "plus sign" and the word postcard and you can find some very good sites. Some of them you'll have to do more research to determine exact location, but lots of old postcards exists with photos of good sites. Also try name of town and "photo" try many different towns around your area. Larger towns will probably yield more things.
