Confederate Camp between La Grange (Moseley Hall) and Kinston, NC?

West of where the old New Hope Church would have been and Fields, NC. Anyone hunted out there? I am interested and willing to cold-knock on some doors, but if someone knows the area I'd appreciate some info or help.
