I've heard of camp lead but camp copper?
Found these pieces at a civil war site I've been working with a friend of mine. Found 17 bullets in a weekend and a ton of lead and copper scrap. This piece of camp lead even has what looks like a patch mark on the top of it. Any ideas on why it would have a fabric imprint or what the copper is from?
