    Forrest pet guns

    was wondering if any one knows if Nathan Bedford Forrest's pet guns were ever found ,during the chase of striegt in georgia it is said that he lost these,and later later recovered them only to be spiked.and like wise buried in the sand, ,any 1 ever find these guns?

    they were 2 captured artillery pieces,it was said that they were his favorites,they were refered to as his 'pet'guns in several books regarding this incident
