Muster rolls...Must See!

Hello, as a teenage civil war buff, i don't have the very best civil war items. However, i do have 2 muster rolls i recieved as gifts. They are an interesting portal into the past. A snapshot of a company in a moment of time.

The signatures and writing of these men continue on living on these papers

These rolls are from the later part of the war and consist manly of indiana and illinios soldiers. The rolls have death records, wounded records, prisoner records, and deserter records.

Please notice that one pic has vicksburg outlined. Therefore, a confederate citizen up and joined the ememy. There also some other pionts of interest...
