This landmine had a screw on cap that was used as a "safety mechanism" to cover the fuse .... Once the ball was buried , the safety cap was unscrewed and removed ... Now the mine was "live"....... I think I may have found a safety cap , and was wondering if anyone knows the size it would be ........ The cap I have has fine threads inside , but I can't find any dimensions ..................... I have it in apple cider vinegar at the moment ....... It is just a simple heavy made iron cap with inside fine threads ............... Thanks for your time .....
