Hey all, I found this a year ago or so and it's been bugging me on what it came from. I put it next to a mini ball for size comparison it has a flat bottom and 6 flat sides. Any info would help. Thanks. Pics to follow

I do not claim to be a civil war bullet expert but the bullet in question seems lik,e more of a modern muzzleloader slug. Do you have calipers to measure the bullet with?
