Fort Morgan Alabama, then and now ADDITIONAL PICS
I took this shot this weekend. It is from the same spot just 142 years between the two pictures.

Unfortunately no. I have talked to the Manager about a "Relic Day" as a way to raise money. Let teams sign up and pay $25 bucks and they turn in whatever they find. The Fort would take their picture with the find and give them credit in the display. No bites so far.

I agree with Montana Jim, those kinds of comparison pictures are great. That part of Alabama is quite beautiful.

The angle is off on this one. The before and after pics were really an afterthought or I would have lined things up right. Use the stairs in the background for reference.

When you see vintage photos such as yours and then visit the place they are of, it makes you want to study every single brick when you get there. Very nice!
